Autibiographical Animals

Archival prints mounted on aluminum, 8”x16”, 2009

One day a stink bug wandered into my studio and fell in love with one of the ant track pieces. It hung out for hours, apparently attracted by the reflection of its own "nature". The stink bug too is an “autobiographical animal”, as it projects its own self-interest into this nature/culture Rorschach test.
