MOUSE TRAP

During an artist residency at the Ucross Foundation, I tried to tempt a studio mouse onto a photographic surrogate of my hand to see if I could experience its touch in proxy.
Day 1 - crackers
Day 2 - cookie
Day 3 - butter
Day 4 - carrot
Day 5 - cheese
Day 6 - fruit, tomato
Day 7 - nuts
Day 8 - peanut butter
Day 9 - crackers, cookie, butter, carrot, cheese, fruit, nuts, peanut butter
The mouse, observing where my attention was focused, never touched my "hand" while I was looking.
